Auckland is Traffic Light ORANGE

We are currently practicing at “traffic light orange”. We remain open.
We continue to offer both virtual (phone or video) and face to face consultations, and will continue to screen you carefully. We ask that you please respect these processes, and if you are self-isolating, have been exposed to covid-19, or have any cold or flu symptoms, please let us know. We can continue to care for you, however need to do this in a planned way.

We have appointments available on manage my health (our online patient portal), however if you cannot find anything and do need to be seen, please phone reception (09 416 9555, press 1), and Anna or Jo can help you further.

Please do use the online portal system for ordering prescriptions, or use the prescription phone line (09 416 9555, press 2). This will help free up the phone lines for those who need it.

At traffic light ORANGE our front door remains locked, and our waiting room is closed. If you are coming in for a pre-planned appointment, we ask that you wear a mask and use hand sanitiser. We ask that you please wait in your car.

Due to the increased cleaning requirements and the increasing complexity of medicine, please remember we can only deal with 1-2 issues per 15minute consultation. If you have more problems or know that you will need longer, please book a double appointment. We are aware the carpark ‘waiting room’ is challenging, and are doing our best to run on time.

Childhood vaccinations are deemed of high importance, and we remain able to provide these important routine immunisations at traffic light ORANGE. Please book for this via reception.

We strongly support the covid-19 vaccination roll out, although we are not currently providing this service at our clinic. We encourage you to get your booster if eligible, and to book your 5-11yo’s in also. There are a large number of local providers including walk-in centres where you can get a vaccine easily. If you have any questions regarding the vaccine roll out, please book an appointment with our doctors to discuss this further.

Covid reviews: We continue to manage our covid positive patients, and encourage you to register your result, as we receive notification of all positive results and can then risk assess you and be in touch if we have any concerns or if you qualify for paxlovid (the anti-viral medication). If you have concerns and you are covid positive, and we screen you as needing a face to face consultation, we can do this in a safe manner.

We continue to operate a waiting list, please email reception@uhmc.co.nz to enquire further or to go onto this wait-list. We are prioritising people who live locally to the Hobsonville region, and extended whanau where we can.
